LaserJet Pro MFP M26nw
Trying the printer laser office pro MFP M25nw again. This time it's not printing although the computer says "printing document" and the green bar goes across on the computer display. It then keeps going into sleep mode. Before it sleeps this there is a number 192.168.1.4 at the bottom of the display under the "ready" message. This is a different fault to the last time I posted. Is it a lost cause? Or perhaps something simple?

Thank you distinguished professor. I spoke to HP today. I've decided to return the printer to the shop...this does not have a feelgood factor at all...

I've no idea what your issue is, just a comment:

192.168.1.4 looks like an IP (IPV4) address - it may be that this is just the address assigned to the printer on your local network.
