M252DW laser printer
macOS 10.12 Sierra

Hello,

I have an HP M252DW laser printer.  I would like to put it on the UPS that I use for my computer and wi-fi modem.  A google search recommended against putting a laser printer on a UPS.  That said, I would prefer to receive guidance from this forum.

Thank you.

LaserJet printers pull too much current when they heat the Fuser to run on the average UPS.

While the laser printer might work on the UPS you would probably within a few months end up having to buy another UPS because you would have overloaded that one. ( somebody did that in one of the office areas where I work)
