i was unknowingly transferred to US Repairs LLC- they charged my CC, and on my receipt, it does not detail the terms. Thought I was being helped by HP and ended up with a #350 charge from US Repairs to me credit card.  Have no idea what they did when they had access to my pc.  Recourse or assistance?

what is my recourse

You have been played by one of the many groups out there that falsely identify themselves as HP support. HP works hard to shut down these operations and I have escalated your post to the moderators. Someone may reach out to you for further details.

In the meantime, contact your credit card company and register a dispute on the charge. I also suggest that you change any and all passwords for online accounts and the login information for your computer as well. You should also scan your PC with a program like Malwarebytes to see if there is any bad stuff lurking around.

If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution easier by marking my post as an accepted solution. Clicking "yes" on "was this reply helpful" also increases the chances that this solution will help others.
