Hello Perry38,

Thank you for your query.

If you are trying to locate the Admin PIN for the HP LaserJet printer model, such as the E47528f, this is for service engineers to access internal printer menu or reset, if incorrect operation / option is used will cause printer operations issue,  some models you typically find it on a label somewhere inside the printer. Here are some steps you can follow to locate it:

  1. Inside the Printer: Check inside the printer, particularly near the toner cartridge area. The PIN is often printed on a sticker or label in this area.

  2. Printer Documentation: Refer to any user manual or documentation that came with the printer. The Admin PIN can sometimes be listed there.

  3. Online Support: Visit the HP support website for your specific printer model, where there might be instructions on locating your Admin PIN.

  4. HP Customer Support: If you're unable to locate it, you can contact HP Customer Support for assistance as its used for internal use only.

If you still experience difficulties after these steps, a customer support representative will be able to help you further.

E series products have no admin default password. If there is a password on the EWS, someone set one and you will have  to enter pre boot mode and perform a cold reset or partial clean, which will wipe out programmed user settings.
