Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Are you getting any error message or code?
- Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC printer to the issue?
- When was the last time it worked fine?
- Is the wireless light blinking or steady?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
- (1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- (2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- (3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- (4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- (5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
- (6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
- (7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- (8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Then, assign manual IP
- 1) Print a Network configuration page from the printer's control panel. (Touch on the wireless icon to get the IP address)
- 2) Look for IP address from the Network configuration page.
- 3) Open a web browser - Chrome or IE or any other browser that you are using.
- 4) Type the IP address mentioned on Network configuration page into the browser's address bar or URL bar and press enter button.
- 5) Go to the Network tab.
- 6) Click on Networking from the left pane.
- 7) Then click on Network Address (IP).
- 😎 Click on Manual IP Address and go to suggest a Manual IP.
- 9) Scroll down the screen and select Manual DNS server.
- 10) Enter the Primary and secondary DNS server from the Network Configuration page into the Manual Preferred DNS server field.
- 11) Click on Apply.
Refer to the video link for step by step instructions - http://hp.care/2cqpl6p
Note: The video is for win 8 but steps are similar for other operating systems as well. You need to enter the IP address in the browser's URL or the address bar to access the printer page.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Are you getting any error message or code? Answer: NO
- Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC printer to the issue? Answer: NO

- Are you able to make a copy? NO; NOT VIA WIRELESS
- Is your computer connected to your new home network? YES
- Have you tried wifi direct connection? YES
I AM NOW ABLE TO PRINT VIA USB 2.0 PRINTER CABLE...MADE PURCHASE
NOW AFTER BEING PAYING MONTHLY FOR OVER A YEAR FOR HP INSTANT INK (NON-USAGE PERIOD)...CAN I GET SOME CREDITS?
04-28-2020 10:41 AM
Glad to know that you are able to print. However, any type of credit cannot be processed as there were no issues with Instant Ink service.
If you do not print for a certain month, those numbers of pages are accumulated in your account which is an advantage to you.
If you do not use all your plan pages in a month, the unused pages will be kept in your account as rollover pages. You can continue to roll over up to two times the number of pages in your monthly plan (for example, you can roll over up to 100 pages if you are enrolled in a 50 page plan).
If you have printed all of the pages in your plan and you have used all of your rollover pages, you can still easily print additional pages. Additional pages are available in sets of 10-20 pages, depending on your plan, for only $1.00 per set.
As long as your printer is connected to the internet, we will send you an email to remind you when you are near printing all of the pages in your plan. You can easily change your monthly plan by logging in at hpinstantink.com/users/signin and clicking Change Plan. Since you can choose to make a plan upgrade effective immediately, you can choose to upgrade your plan rather than purchasing additional pages.
I hope this answers your concern.
