Is the Mac connected to your home WiFi?

Do you have SSID brodcast disabled on your WiFi router?

Do you have 2.4GHz and 5GHz network enabled on your WiFi router?

Do you have any anitivirus software installed on your Mac?

Let me know!

  • Yes, the Mac is connected to my home WiFi router.
  • I am not sure how to have my SSID broadcast disabled?  I am using my Internet provider (Spectrum) router.  Is that causing the issue?  I don't understand the meaning of SSID broadcast?
  •  have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz network enabled and currently using 5GHz now.
  • I am using Webroot SecureAnywhere virus software on my Mac.

Also, now I am seeing my WiFI indicator (light) is flashing even after I disconnect and turn back on my printer?

I believe HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw only support 2.4GHz network. Please enable 2.4GHz network on your WiFi router and then connect Mac to the 2.4GHz network, then run wireless setup using HP Utility. Please make sure that the  2.4GHz and 5GHz networks have different network names(SSID).

I have tried using the 2.4GHz network on my WiFi router and even before too.  It says password not accepted but I am using the correct one.  I have two different network names so that should not be a factor.

Thank you for your help trying to resolve this issue.  The link you sent to contact HP support does not work... can you repost it again?  Do you think the WiFi on my printer gone bad and that's why it is not working?

Why am I able to print the configration page but nothing else seem to work?  That doesn't make any sense.Config.png

I am not given the option to contact HP support other than being re-routed to the forum here.  How can I reach out to HP?  I did not see any online form or chat?

How agonizing  to discover this thread when I went to post yet another complaint about lousy HP printers and their "customer service", which somehow manages to make their lousy printers look good.  Almost any encounter with HP leaves me with disappointment, and I've already started to look at Epson and even Brother alternatives to finally rid myself of this awful company, its terrible "customer service" and offal community threads where we swap war stories about this dreadful company. Your thread is titled "Unable to Print", which should be the tagline/slogan for HP.

Oh Look!  As soon as I posted my note I got a friendly automated JUNK MAIL from HP congratulating and awarding me for complaining about their awful products and ridiculous "customer service". Apparently I'm "ENGAGED!".
