It is in warranty? If yes, call service support warranty, https://support.hp.com/us-en

If no, so clean the rolletes and the paper way can help. Like this document: https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c01728503 its generic but works.

I am not using the automatic feed. I am laying the doc on the flat bed of the scanner
