My printer randomly stopped working. The printer error only says, "Printer cannot print" there is no failure code or anything. It also says on the printer report, "A problem has occurred and you will be unable to print except for printer reports until the issue is resolved." It is connected to my network via an ethernet cable and the connection is strong. I've also tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling with restarts on my computer each time. Nothing seems to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you sign up for some type of subscription service such as instant ink?  Some "plus" printers required subscription even if using genuine HP ink.

See if EWS can provide more information about the problem.
This explains how to use the EWS
Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

You can also ask Microsoft's Copilot how to fix the printer. Be sure to identify it as LaserJet, Officejet or Deskjet as some model names are identical but the printer is different. Be sure to ask Copilot for videos. Copilot has access to features and information that might be missing from the older HP manuals available on the web.

HP has a YouTube support page where can watch videos that answer questions and solve problems on HP printers. Typically unboxing, cleaning printheads and on rare occasion, Wi-Fi setup. Multiple language videos are usually available. You can also ask Microsoft's Copilot if you have the latest versions of Windows 10 or 11.

Go here and enter the model name of your system.

Thank you very much for your suggestion to use Microsoft Copilot. That's what ultimately led to me discovering that my HP Web Services was disabled. I'm now back up and running. Thanks so much!
