Laser Jet Pro M203dw

I have a Laser Jet printer that I have connected directly to a router with an ethernet cord in order to use it with our business computer.  However, I also want to use other computers at the office with this printer wirelessly, but since I connected the cord, the wireless function has turned off.  Is there a way to use both at the same time?

No sorry.  Only one connection to your network is allowed.  Either Wireless or Ethernet but not both.  Not needed.  When the Ethernet is connected the wireless is disabled automatically.

Hi,

Indeed both cannot be used at the same time, the printer can only be connected to a single network and any wifi capabilities are disabled once plugging and ethernet cable.

You may use however the WiFi Direct feature as a workaround, however any user will need to connect is device to the printer network to print (up to 5 devices are allowed) and won't have internet access at this time.

To enable Wifi direct print a configuration report once the cable is plugged to your printer and locate its IPv4 address:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-m203-printer-series/9365400/model/9365402/docum...

Under Networking enable WiFi Direct and take a note of its passcode or keep it as Automatic (12345678)

From any device you may connect to the printer network which include HP or Direct in its name to print wirelessly.

Shlomi
