I am having the same problem on our network. We have three HP LaserJet 400 Color M451dw printers on site. They are setup as airprinters. We have multiple AP's setup around our floor. For the most part our users can print to the printers from their wireless devices..... However sometimes they will receive a message the printer is offline. I went through the printers yesterday and sent three test printers to all of them through out the day. AM, afternoon and PM. One of the printers was offline. I printed the Wirless Network Test report and the following error showed "More than one access point/wireless router has been found that matches your wirless network's name (SSID). If this is unintended, your HP printer might connect to the wrong wireless network. If you change your network's name, you will need to configure the SSID on all of your wireless devices to match the new network SSID. **
Thoughts?

Hi,
AirPrint uses Bonjour which relies on Multicasting, such a use of a range extender may break the multicast connection and therefore the printer goes offline.
I suggest setting the closest access point with a unique SSID so both your Apple Device and HP Printer are connected to the same access point, then it should print correctly.
