M426, M452, M521
Microsoft Windows Server 2019

I have a small handful of printers that display "device communication error" in Web JetAdmin.  There are models: M426, M452, M521.  From what I can tell, these models use the HPWSProAdpater.  The service is started.  HPWJAService.exe has been allowed inbound connections on the firewall.  I updated the firmware on one of the M426s but that didn't change a thing.  I'm not really sure what to try next.

I found out that WS-Discovery has to be enabled.  Once I enabled it on the printers and did a new device discovery, everything worked.  🙂

Do you have any EWS passwords set as default in WJA that are not set on these printers?
