I have a small handful of printers that display "device communication error" in Web Jetadmin. There are models: M404, M452, M453-4.  I updated the firmware on one all of them but that didn't change a thing. unlike similar people asking this question for logging purposes i have to disable WS-Discovery. I'm not really sure what to try next.
