This white plastic part fell out of my HP1160 Laserjet printer front door and I cannot see where it is designed to fit.

I would like to see a drawing or photo of where it belongs. You will see it when you open the front toner door. I am certain it fits to the left, in front of the toner, and is something to do with the envelope door.

Any ideas, please. Regards and thanks

I do not have an 1160 in front of me, it is similar to the 1320 but I see no piece like that when having a quick look. It appears to be broken off based on the photo you posted. If this is a nylon material then it is going to be off something that moves because they use this material as a low friction connector.

The very small front part broke off some time ago and it is to do with the envelope feed and I lived with the feed not working.  If someone who has a 1160 can take a photo of that area for me, it would help me put it back.

Thank you for your reply.11604.jpg
