M402n
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just installed the M402n and it will only print the graphics on a page (in my case, the lines in a tax form).  There is no text printed once so ever.

This is on a network printer.

Please help, I'm ready to send this thing back!

How do I do that, download a PCL5 driver?  Or is it more difficult than that?  And when I mean graphics, it downloads the lines on the tax forms, no text, just lines.

Thanks!!

Hello, when you say graphics, do you mean like wingding text, and does it do continuous printing until you stop the machine? If this is the case, than you will need to change or update the driver. What I recommend is changing the driver to PCL 5, as I am sure the machine is using a PCL 6 driver.

Hope this helps....

To download the driver google search the model with the driver. Once at HP's support site, choose your OS and it will bring up drivers, firmware etc. From there, under Universal print driver, select the UPD PCL5 driver to download. Once it is done, install the driver and it should bring up an install wizard where you can reinstall the printer with this driver.

Hope this helps.....
