Yellow Lines through printed page

Hello, my printer recently started printing with thick yellow lines randomly through each page. Its never consistant. Need help getting it fixed. Only a year old

Hi scurry094,

First of all make sure that you plug your printer directly in to a wall socket and not to a UPS or a multisocket power outlet.

If it still prints those lines, I would suggest to replace the yellow cartridge with a known good-working one.

If this also makes no difference, then check all the springs in the yellow cartridge slot of the printer.
