If the test page that is printed from the panel comes out with a yellow background then you almost certainly have a defective yellow toner cartridge.
It's also possible you have a high voltage problem in the printer but the defective cartridge is more likely.

I had the same problem and discovered this. When I tore the plastic gaurd off of the cartridge I didn't get it all. On each end the cover, there were ends (like tabs) of the cover were still inserted into the cartridge. When I removed these the cartridge worked correctly.
