My printer just started printing all yellow background. The rest of print job is fine, but the white paper comes out as yellow paper now. Only time the paper is not full yellow is when I print out Micro office document. Any suggestion?

I would suggest you start by printing the built-in test Pages or report Pages just to single page will do.

If the test page that is printed from the panel comes out with a yellow background then you almost certainly have a defective yellow toner cartridge.

It's also possible you have a high voltage problem in the printer but the defective cartridge is more likely.

Test page was also all yellow. I will chage the toner and see if that fixes the problem. thank you for the suggestion.

Having the same issue, replaced yellow cartridge ,  issue not resolved.  Please advise.

I had the same problem and discovered this. When I tore the plastic gaurd off of the cartridge I didn't get it all. On each end the cover, there were ends (like tabs) of the cover were still inserted into the cartridge. When I removed these the cartridge worked correctly.
