Just started 2 days ago. Whenever I print a document in color, the whole document gets printed in yellow also. I have downloaded and installed a new driver from HP as well as a new printer control program.

Fortunately, I had a used yellow cartridge. When I replaced my full one with this, "Presto" the spurious yellow prining was gone.  Now if I can figure out how to get the control chip out of the old one and put it in the newer one, I'll be all set. I have ordered a new yellow cartridge, though.

The first thing I would do is "replace" the yellow toner cartridge.

Thanks, I'll try that. I'll have to buy a new cartridge so it will take a few days.

I thought, since it doesn't print yellow when I am printing in gray scale, that it must be a software problem.
