Laserjet Pro CM1415 MFP
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printed text is blurred on my  CM1415 MFP .

This has only just started to happen.  No changes have been made to printer, or PC.

The printer prints pure black text fine.

With coloured text e.g .blue, the red and blue versions of the text are vertically out of line by about 0.5 mm, causing the text to look blurred.

please can anybody advise if this is fixable, or do i need to buy  a new printer (this one is 6 years old),

thanks

Martin

Calibrate one or two times.

If it isn't work then do a Restore Default on printer's panel to see if it helps.

Service Menu -> Restore Default

If it's still not work do a NVRAM.

Google it.

There's another possibility that one or more of the four cartridge is/are not happy with the others.

Have you ever changed any cartridge recently?

If yes, change it back to the old one to see what happen if you still keep it.

Another way is to find out which one color is the one that most offline.

Change it to see what will happen.

If you finally find out which one is to blame to.

There's no need to threw it away, just keep it, one day when you put it back maybe they will happy with each other this time.

It happens all the time.

hi. thanks very much for the quick response.  I followed the suggestions and ended up repleceing the red toner drum.  This fixed the problem.   will keep the old ones in case they work later   :generic:
