Click on this link and it will take you to your printers software download page on HP.com then you need to select your what OS you are running on your PC and you can download the software for your printer.

I went to the link you provided and downloaded and installed the drivers and software for windows 10 .  I still get the same message                                                                                           

                     The selected printer could not be found.

 

I currently am using the HP photosmart C4680 printer.   I use a direct wire connection,  it's on
