Product: laserjet pro m12w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my printer laserjet pro m12w has the firmware 20180202, i 've downloded the latest one 2018208. i instaled it via USB and it said that it was updated . When i look the printer's info says that the firmware is 20180202. It never updated i tried for several times with no results

and there is no .ful file in the firmware to try to force the installation

Welcome to HP Support community.

 

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.
