Working a trying to test a new printer, but I don't have the password to setup through the web.  How do I  reset the printer to get back to its out of box settings?

If it is a new printer the EWS, (Embedded Web Server), should not have a password.

If it has a password out of the box that is an issue.

If my post resolves your issue please click the accepted as solution button under it.

You can even click both buttons. . .

Hi Stafford3rd,

I have just sent you instructions to reset the printer to its factory original settings.

Cheers!

Power off the printer.  Turn the printer on and when the display turns on, press the cancel button.  From the menu that opens, scroll down to administrator,  then select partial clean.  Then use back arrow until you see continue.  Press ok and printer will restart and be reset.
