Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am not experiencing any errors at this time.  I recently purchased the HP CP5225n.  My question is can this printer be upgraded for automatic duplex printing

You can't.

What you have is HP CP5225n (CE711A) the n-net, there're another two HP CP5225 (CE710A) and HP CP5225dn (CE712A) d-double, only the CP5225dn can  automatic duplex printing.
