paper feeder wont take single or multiple sheets, in addition, scanner doesn'twork and there is a lighat inside that keeps blinking

the paper feed issue could be worn out/dirty pick rollers.  you can access them by lifting a cover on the ADF.  It could also be that the scanner is experiencing a defect.  The scanner might not be able to initialize properly but theres little to do for that except replace the printer.
