Hello HP Community
Here i came to find the solution of my problem on HP 5550dn. i am facing this problem since 4 or 5 day ago and not sorted it out.
Error code 51.23 (Laser/scanner) issue
what i did so for?
1 change the laser scanner for (magenta and Yellow) problem still exist.
did change DC Board problem still exist.
clean toners
clean complete printer with air blower
did almost every thing what i could understand but there is no change problem still exist.
Please HElp

This is a beam detect error which would indicate that the scanner is not rotating. Did you replace with new parts or used parts? If you swapped the two scanners (yellow/magenta) did the error follow the scanner or did the error remain the same? If error followed the scanner then that scanner is bad. If the error was the same you need to check all cabling closely to ensure that all connections are solid.

No timing settings for scanners. The main drive train is the only part of printer that requires setting.

Hello HP Community
So this is HP Community where i did post my problem and after 48 hours and more there will not a single HP Official Come up with help to their Costumers really getting upset with this behavior from HP.
When they call there self World Wide so this is there behavior to US living long distance and spend hours to waiting for the some one to come up and will get sort out our problems but i think i am waiting my time and wasting my money as buying HP Products

That noise right at the end is very telling. That is consistent with a bad drive motor or a locked scanner motor. If you go to admin>troubleshooting and find the component test you can run each motor individually to find out which one causes the problem.
