So after three hours or so I was able to resolve this issue. I very closely followed the HP tutorial and instructions on how to clear and reset the apparent paper jam but I could not see a paper jam, nothing. Desperate, I looked at You Tube. There was an article describing how sometimes there was small paper debris in places where you couldn't see it. They recommended removing paper tray, opening back door and blowing air or vacuuming. I took printer to the garage and blew air. I noticed a small piece of paper approximately 1/2 inch circular blowing in the wind in the rear. This was it. Removed paper debris and problem resolved. No way I could have seen it otherwise.
