I am running windows7 Asus Home premium 64 bit. My photosmart 2600 fails to install with what appears to be an Adobe MSI failure error tn_19166. Adobe suggests downloading the latest version which I have done. I have also disabled loading of other programs but still get the error.
Any suggestions?

jm4mahoney, I would recommend uninstalling both the software for the printer as well as the software for flash. Make sure that the printer is entirely gone from Programs and Features, the Device Manager and Devices and Printers. Restart your computer after this is complete.
Then follow this link to reinstall Flash:

And this link for your specific printer model's software and install the full-feature software:

You should also make sure that your screen's resolution is not too low for the software, this can be found by right-clicking the background of your desktop and selecting "Screen Resolution."
Let me know if this helps the software install!
