Hi,
What operating system do you use?
The latest printer firmware for your printer was published years ago in 2013, and can only be updated with an operating system that was supported at that time, meaning Windows 7 or earlier Os versions.
The update can only be done using a supported operating system using the below utility:
What firmware version is currently installed on your printer?
To find that out print a Config Report by pressing and holding the Go button for 5 seconds, then locate the Firmware Datecode or Version listed on that report.
Is it an earlier date than 20130314?
What is the exact reason you would like to update the firmware? any specific problem you experience?
