Hi @lyndylu2806,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that you want to erase memory from your HP Envy 6020 Printer.

Method 1: Using the HP Smart App (Recommended)

Open the HP Smart app on your connected computer or mobile device.

Select your printer and navigate to Advanced Settings (or Printer Setup).

Choose Restore Defaults or Restore Factory Defaults under the Service or Tools menu.

Method 2: Hard Reset/Factory Reset (Physical Buttons)

  1. With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back.

  2. Wait at least 30 seconds.

  3. Plug the power cord back in.

  4. Immediately press and hold the Resume button (centre button) for 10–20 seconds.

  5. Wait for the printer to finish rebooting and for the lights to stop flashing.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
