envy 5540

Had Envy printer for over 1 year.  I never used it.  A friend set it up for Bluetooth use but it never worked. I have a samsuang J8 android phone , but can not get it to work

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Try these steps to perform a factory reset -

 

From the printer's control panel, touch Setup menu > Tools > Restore Factory Defaults

 

To print from your mobile device, refer to this document for steps - HP Printers - Using the HP Smart App (Android, Apple iOS)
