Hello,
I need wiping hard-drive data on network printer as Color LaserJet 4700/LaserJet 4650n/LaserJet P2055dn.
The new printers have utility as like Secure File Erase feature ensures any hard disk information from print, copy, fax, and scan jobs is securely removed. This capability is provided as a standard feature on NEW HP LaserJet MFPs and printers.
What do it with old printers?

Both 4700 and 4650 have the same instructions to initialize HDD that will erase all data:
Turn printer ON, when it starts to initialize press and hold Menu button until all 3 LED is ON, then press back button INITIALIZE DISK message should appear then confirm with YES ( green) button.
P2055dn doesn't have HDD

Wish I could tell you more, but I haven't used that software.
The information I found said that Secure Erase is used for SSD drives, both 4700 and 4650 use standard mechanical disk drives, not SSD.
