hp laser mfp 1188a error u2-1113

I understand your HP Laser MFP 1188a is showing error U2‑1113. Let's try a few steps to resolve this.

Reset the printer.

Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.

Wait for 2–3 minutes to clear any error states.

Plug it back in and turn it on.

Try printing again.

 

Check Connections

Loose USB or network cables can cause communication errors.

If using USB, reseat the cable and try another port

If using network, verify Ethernet/Wi‑Fi stability

 

Update Firmware

Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

 

Driver mismatches after Windows updates can trigger controller errors.

Uninstall current HP printer software

Download and install the latest driver from HP’s site

Restart PC and printer

 

If the issue still persists, refer to the steps on this link to restore factory defaults.
