Following the WPS methiod I believe (based on solid WiFi blue light on printer) I've established a wireless connection between my ARRIS DG2460 router and my HP P1102W printer; however, the system preferences on my Macbook Pro indicate my printer is offline so it won't print. I've restarted the printer but that didn't solve the problem so I then unplugged the router and plugged it back in after 10 seconds but that didn't work. The printer shows in my printers and scanners section in system preferences; it just indicates it is offline. Can someone please explain how to make the printer online? The printer will work if I connect it to my Mac using a USB cable but I prefer to print wireless. I'm not a computer tech person so appreciate any layperson explanations. Thank you!
