My hp laserjet 200 M251n has stoppped working,  won't print and no display in LCD panel, only power light is on.

 

I'd like to try a factory reset but the only option in the manual is via the menus and the "OK" button which of course is not working.

 

Is it possible to do a cold (factory) reset on thsi printer?

Hi,

 

Please try to keep the printer turned off for sometime and then try to turn it back on.

make sure its connected to a direct wall outlet, also remove all the cables (USB/Network)

 

if these dont help check your private message on how to perform the reset.

Hi,

 

Please can i have the solution for the same issue. I am trying to reset it using the normal steps but it gives me menu disabled. I need to do cold reset for the printer to change the network settings.

I'm in a similar situation.

Need to reconfigure the printer, but the guy who knows the password hast left the company.

 

Please provide information on how to reset the password and/or printer settings.

 

EDIT: I have the LCD-Version, not the Touch-Version-Version...

Hello,

 

I also need to reset a LaserJet Pro 200 Color m251n to factory defaults, can I please get info how to do this.

The menu is blocked (secured) by a colleague who left, so I cannot access  it to change IP adress etc.
