There're two Macs and a few Windows in my office, m276nw, all Macs and Windows are connected to wifi in the same LAN but m276nw connects to 2g and Macs, my Windows connect to 5g.

Macs have trouble to print but at the same time my Windows can print through m276nw. After restart m276nw, Macs can print. It is the case happens everyday and already update firmware to 20150212 version.

I found somebody had the same problem and also had 2g and 5g wifi. He fixed the problem when set Macs to 2g from 5g. Please help me out of this problem. Thank you.

I see that you are experiencing issues with your HP LaserJet Pro 200 printer. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.

I would suggest you perform the steps below to fix the issue with your MAC:

  • Click the Apple menu icon, and then click System Preferences.
  • Click Printers and Scanners, Print and Scan, or Print and Fax.
  • Right-click the blank space in the Printers list, and then click Reset printing system.
  • Click Reset in the confirmation window.
  • Enter an administrator username and password, and then click OK.
  • Wait until the printing system is reset and no devices show in the Printers list
  • Click the Add button (+).
  • Find, and then select the name of your printer from the Printer list, and then click Add to add your printer.
  • Click Print Using..., and then select the name of your printer (By default “Airprint” would be selected)

Try the steps listed in the support document:

'Printer Offline' or 'Printer Not Responding' Message (Mac) - Click here

Printer Not Found During Network Driver Setup (Mac) - Click here

Alternatively, you can try assigning a static IP address and a Manual DNS address to fix this issue. Try the steps below:

* Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.

* Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.

* Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)

* Click on the radio button which says “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.

* Click on radio button which says “Manual DNS Server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)

Let me know how this goes. I'll be happy to help you with your concern.

Hi Biswajeet,

Thanks for your prompt suggestions. I figured out that the IGMP Snooping option is the root of this problem. Once this option was disabled, everything worked stable. Thank you.
