Hi tamyjoyce,
Follow the steps in Message 9 of 11. You need to figure out if your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit.

This solution worked great for a few months. Now the user switched laptops and went to a Windows 8 machine. If she logs into the server from the old laptop (Windows Vista) it maps the printer. If she logs onto the server from the new laptop (Windows 😎 it doesn't.
Does anyone have any ideas?

We have the same problem with windows 8 connecting to windows 2003 terminal server.
I tried the Fax 8600 driver and the HP universal pcl 5 and 6 drivers.
We can see the printers in the terminal server session but i'm unable to print......
Thanks for you help.

If your 2003 Server is 32 bit, you need to load the 64 bit driver as an additional driver under "Print Servers" this way, when a 64bit computer connectes to terminal server, it will map to the 64bit driver and pass it through the print queue. Hard to understand at first, but thats the way it works.
