need to identify a part

 

I was removing the paper input unit and this part fell out

any idears as to where it goes back at ?

Been so long since I disected one of these I have to admit I am not sure. May be part of the front/side door switch assembly.

it fell down when I was removing the paper input unit

could have come from the tray 1 pickup assembly or the paper input unit

it is the only thing stopping me from putting the printer back together
