Charged for 4 months without receiving toner – no refund offered
I was charged $19.00/month for my HP subscription (LaserJet MFP M140we) from June to September 2026 without receiving a toner cartridge. HP's own chat agent confirmed a cartridge was supposedly shipped in June but was never installed or used, and HP could not confirm it was delivered.
HP offered one free month and a replacement. When I escalated, a supervisor claimed I had been printing, contradicting what the chat agent had confirmed. HP refused any refund and required me to pay one more month to cancel. After I complained, access to my account was blocked.
I've been with HP as a customer and expected basic fairness: a refund for a service that was never delivered. Case No. 5165363457 remains unresolved. Be careful with HP subscriptions and check your statements closely.
