Hi,
I had this printer since 2011and I never had any problem with it before. I was away from home more than a year and after I returned and start to use it this problem occurred. Every time I send a printing job the second page jammed! I opened the rear door and saw nothing there and close it; then the printer passes the paper to the output tray with nothing printed on it.
This clip shows how its look from inside the tray when it's printing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK4gqZ44lZU
I do not understand what is wrong. I would love to fix this problem without the need to take my device to the shop.
thank you.
*kindly don't mind my poor English skills.

Is the paper size set properly on the printer? How does the pickup roller look? It should look like it has fingerprints. If it is smooth replacement it.

Your issue is not a jam but the pickup roller is worn and can not pick up the paper and the printer thinks there is a jam when the paper does not reach the registration sensor in the time alloted.
Replace it will be done.
Or you can try to clean it first by taking it out and clean it by using soap water, you can change the grabbing surface in the mean time since you have taken it out. But it won't last long enough by doing that.
Another way is to slow down the print speed of CM1415 by changing the plain paper types from normal to heavy.
You can change all else paper types to heavy too this should help it last for a long time enough until one day it'll fail again then you must have to change the pick-up roller.
You can do all these from a browser and key-in IP address -> System -> Paper Types.................
Don't forget to press the "Apply" button after your changing any settings.

Hello,
I apologise for my late response. The courier service lost my pickup roller package! Anyway, I was a little bit sceptical about the solution because its 7years old printer and the first page always runs without a problem. Finally received it and replaced. Printing has never been smoother before now! Thank you for your help. Appreciate it.

Hi,
I tried changing the paper type and didn't work. It's 7years old and has done much so far. The pickup roller needs a resign! I replaced it and everything works like a charm. thanks for your help.
