Microsoft Windows Server 2008

I have hp 3035. When I command 7 copies at a time, printing is ok. But I experience jams when I command more than 7 double sided copies. The papers are of required quality and I removed the dust in all rollers. What might be the cause of these jams?

Most of the time you might be got into a so called Sticky Solenoids problem.

http://westhillprinters.blogspot.com/2011/12/sticky-solenoids.html

HP 3035 has three Solenoids one for tray1's paper input control, 2nd for tray2's, 3rd for double sided.

Each of them has a specific timimg of on/off to control paper's movement, once there's a mininum of early or delay you'll get a paper jam error.

Most of the time 3035 will jam two papers at least one half of the paper stops at exit  roller and another stops under toner cartridge, sometimes thers's the 3rd stops at input tray.

In the beginning it will be fine when you print no more than maybe 10 pages everyday in the moring, but it'll jam every page when printing more than 10 unless you let it cool down for an hour or two. Till one day it will jam every page whenever you're printing.

Take care of the solenoids then you can really enjoy laser printer's printing.

Google the Serviice Manual you'll need it.

There's a HP 4250's solenoid's jam video on youtube hope it helps.

This really solved the problem. I am not a technician but I managed to removed the right side cover and found that the 1st tray solenoid was sticky. I detached the stuck part. now the machine is no longer jaming. Thanks for help. this is a nice page. I am glad to be a member. Next time do the same.
