Laser Jet 1020
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

laser jet 1020 prints one page plus sends a blank page a total of two pages should only be one printed page.

It sends the blank page after the printed page. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the current drivers from HP support site. I have also run the diagnostic utility, reads all is working properly. I am using Standard Letter size, 20 weight, 96 Bright, Printing Paper. The printer cartridge is NOT new, started this problem after several copies have been printed. Could the cartridge be the problem ? Never had this happen before. Any help is appreciated, Thank You.

I would clean the paper feed roller and make sure it is not maybe slipping on the paper when feeding. It could be that it slips and the machine thinks it did not feed the first time and retry the print.Hope this helps.
