laserjet 1018 printer driver for Mac

I am having a hard time finding driver for laserjet 1018 printer for my Mac

I’m sorry to inform you that the LaserJet 1018 is not supported in any Mac environment, as detailed here: HP Support.

However, you can try the following workaround:

1. Download and install this package: Apple Support - DL907 or HP 5.1.1 Printer Software Update - Apple Support
2. Open Print & Scan and click the Plus sign.
3. Select the listed LaserJet 1018.
4. Click the Use drop-down menu and choose Select Printer Software.
5. From the list, select the LaserJet 1022 driver, add the printer, and then try printing.
