LaserJet M1132
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

M1132 printer does not print PDF from Adobe reader, go clean sheets and it gives an error H1. Put a tick "Print as image" and print in greyscale, nothing helps. How to fix the problem?

Greetings @lewkin33,

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are unable to print from Adobe reader and get an H1 error.

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own by trying to print as image.

Don't worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Are you able to make a copy or print from other applications?

If you are able to print from other applications, recommend you uninstall Adobe reader from your computer.

Download the latest version of Adobe reader from this link and check if you the issue gets resolved.

Refer to this HP Article for the error codes. It states that H1 is related to manual duplex printing.

If you get this H1 error while doing duplex printing, it indicates that the printer is waiting for you to insert the paper manually.

Even after installing the latest version of Adobe reader, if you are unable to print, please create a new user account on your computer and try to print a PDF file.

Alternately, you can try to print PDF files from Chrome, Word or any other application installed on your computer capable of opening a PDF file.

Keep me posted.

Thank you! The issue decided by disabling double-sided print mode in the printer settings.
