Is there some manual that shows things like replacing the toner cartridges, waste toner container and the drum?

The manual that comes with the printer doesn't even tell how to replace the toner cartridges.

And where can I get the waste toner container and drum if I need to replace them, and which ones fit the printer?

I'm an embedded SW designer from Finland, and I've nothing to do with HP - other than buying HP products every now and then for my personal use.

Hello, @turboscrew

There are some old printers which have waste toner containers and no, this printer does not have it.

To answer your second question, yes, the drums are integrated to the toner cartridges on this printer toner.

Additionally, as you are replacing the toners, HP has a recycling program which will help your dispose / recycle your product. Please go to https://www.hp.com/us-en/hp-information/recycling/ink-toner.html and select your country to check the recycling options.

Hope that helps! Let me know!

Cheers 🙂

Hello, @turboscrew – Hope you are well 🙂

Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I found a wonderful document to help you replace the toner / drum. Follow the steps listed here: HP Color LaserJet Pro M252, M277 Printers - Replacing Toner Cartridges

The imaging drum is attached on the toner for your LaserJet m277 printer.

Also, check here or more troubleshooting and support documents for your printer: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Good luck 🙂

Do the printers still have waste toner containers? And specifically, does this printer have it?

And there is no separate drum(s), but the drums are integrated to the toner cartridges?
