Product: MFP M477fdn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My HP printer is stuck on initializing.  I have tried resetting, unplugging, reinstalling software and even went as far as changing out the 4 toners.  Any other suggestions.  I have tried calling support - but have been unsuccessful in reaching a real person to assist.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Upon start up, as soon as the screen shows the HP logo(at this point, in black and white), press and hold, in the touch screen area only, the area just above the question mark, until the "...init" prompt appears, then release.  This reset procedure will reboot the printer and take it back to READY state.

Hi guys, thanks for your advice... but regretably my printer is still on the "initializing" process after the procedure... Have another idea?
