Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

m477fnw is a slow printer that I have ever met. it can't print in the speed claimed.

if hp has any real solution rather than keep asking owners to switch off and on, hard reset the printer, update firmware, etc.

we need real solution for this poorly designed piece!

We have plenty of clients with this model without complaint. If you are looking for assistance from the community you need to  provide some information.

-what firmware revision are you running, actual revision, saying "the latest" tells me nothing.

-what driver are you using.

-how are you connecting.

-does it copy a standard speed.

-what documents are you printing, stated speed will be for text documents not a full 8.5x11 color photo, which will always take much longer.

-how fast is your computer.

-what type of media are you printing on? heavier stocks and labels will slow the printer down.

in standard mode

surface pro 3

media:hp glossy 150g

I have a fuji cm315, speed faster than m477fnw 21sec  for the same pdf color doc!

 

btw, I saw another complaints about m477 in this forum, I'm not lonely!
