There is a substantial delay between when you select something to print and when the printer actually prints the first page. You can check the job log and see that it is processing a job but nothing is coming out of the printer.

It seemed as though the fuser and everything was spinning during the pauses in the printing of that 50 page paper path test.

I will try the ImageRET setting you mentioned.

At one point I did try a fusing assembly and transfer belt at the same time. This customer had ordered them for one of their other M680 printers. So, before delivering them ..I did try them in this unit with no success. Those seem to be working/printing fine in that other unit currently.

This is not a FLOW unit.

Thanks again for your help

Have you found a solution for this issue? I have a machine doing the same thing. Prints 4-5 color fine, the slows between each subsequent pages it pauses, causing the whole print job to take a long time. Also happens on internal prints and color copies.

Customer noticed the problem after replacing the transfer belt and fuser simultaneously.

No we have not found a solution yet.

Were the belt and fuser you replaced OEM?

I ask because we have found that this model printer does not like anything but OEM replacements for the most part.

Yes, the belt and fuser were OEM. The customer is going to try a new belt - since the maintenance counter did not reset after they replaced it. I also tried the partial disk wipe, but that did not fix it.

We tried that and even a solid state hard drive after a cold reset. Still did not change the slow print issue. Good luck and update us. Seems as though this is a common issue with this model.
