my replacement hp laserjet MFP M140 w printer does not print pdf  file from my pc folder although new printer shows connected but hp smart shows not connected what am i missing/

Hello
Please open Control Panel - Devices and Printers - find the printer icon on your computer.
Right click on it - Printer Properties - Print Windows Test.
Please confirm if the Windows test page is printing properly first?
