LaserJet CP1525nw color
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a LaserJet CP1525nw color printer. It is not new and has worked without any major issues until now. I recently had a paper jam and after clearing the paper, continued to get an error message. I have checked everywhere and see no problems, and I have several times turned it off/on, unplugged it, etc. No change. The error message comes on as soon as it boots up, and will not allow me even to run the cleaning page. I suspect that there is a problem with a sensor, but I have no idea where this would be or how to clean it. Any help, please? Thanks!

Most common issue is either a small bit of paper stuck in a flag or a flag got broken or jammed. Remove the cartridges and paper tray and gently set printer on one side so you can examine the paper path more easily.

Thank you for this reply. Unfortunately, I have looked and looked and find nothing, no bits of paper or anything. Is there an optical sensor that may have been dirtied by some toner or something?
