If the error is on the screen and does not clear then you may have a paper jam somewhere in the printer or some other fault. First step is to restart the printer to see if the error comes back immediately on restart. If it does then you have an issue somewhere in the printer. Be sure to check everywhere for paper debris including removing the paper tray and dropping the duplex tray down (if applicable) to check for paper jams there.
