Depending on the type of document, try:

Reinstall / Update your PDF Reader (Adobe Reader DC / Foxit)

Word >> embed the fonts into the document, else change the font to a True Type font supported by the printer.

PDF >> print the offending document as an image.

Help, Suggestions, and Examples:

Manage Print Output with Print Preview

Sections, various - including:

  • Preparation
  • Word – Things that are Fonts

  • Use the Embedded fonts feature so the fonts "stick" in the document

  • PDF Files (various sub-sections)

You are welcome.

It is sometimes the case that the printer software cannot translate the document content.  The reasons for this vary, including (but not limited to):  odd fonts (or fonts not in the printer software list), odd formatting resulting from the way the original document was created, corruption or errors in the original document (which are not visible), errors while translating the document into something the printer can understand.

Printing the document as an image does not tell you "why" the original document fails to print, the solution does allow you to get a paper copy and get on with life.  Smiling.

Happy Printing!
